Tata Nano-- Company Releases $2500 Car

The world's cheapest car is due out March 23, 2009.This car is being set for release in India and is being billed as "the people's car". They say that it will not be allowed in the U.S. because it would not pass our safety standards. Don't get me wrong, I am all for safety! However, don't you think that America could use a car like this or something very similar in price and design? Add a $1000 to the price tag and make it safe for our country's consumers! It tends to lead to the point of why can't the U.S. produce something along this price point? America's big three car companies and our government are too greedy to let something like this car sell! Sure it is not the biggest or best looking car! That's not the point and I am not saying not to keep offering the higher priced cars. Just give more options to the American people.
